Expanding access to STEM education
Our Mission
Our mission is to make STEM education accessible to every student. We provide free after-school science classes, community STEM events, college-prep mentorship, classroom STEM supplies and kits, STEM scholarships, and high-quality online resources to spark curiosity.
STEM careers are important for economic mobility and national innovation, but large gender and socioeconomic STEM gaps exist. By removing barriers to learning, AspireED strives to empower all students - regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic background - to explore, grow, and succeed in STEM.
Our Vision
We strive to expand access to STEM resources for students across all 50 states and internationally.
What sets AspireED apart is our peer-driven STEM education model. Research shows that peer teaching improves learning outcomes, confidence, and communication skills by creating an environment where younger students feel comfortable asking questions and taking academic risks. All AspireED volunteers are students with teaching experience ; we design programs to meet young learners' needs and improve their confidence.
